Broccoli and Cheese for Baby
4 baby portions
A handful of purple sprouting broccoli, or a few broccoli florets (approximately 50g)
25g of grated cheese
50ml baby milk (formula or breast)
Gently steam the broccoli until soft.
Mash the broccoli with cheese and milk, allow to cool.
Serve with fresh tomato pieces. Chopped to the right size if using large tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes can be crushed with your fingers -but watch out they don’t explode all over you!
Tip: This freezes well. Cows milk should not be given as a drink, but can be used in cooking so if you want to switch formula out you can use whole cows milk.
